Hello, Meagan! Welcome to planDisney. Planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth with a visit by your mother sounds like a vacation that is practically perfect in every way.
On a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago, my parents joined us for dinner at
Sanaa in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. My kids were young but they still talk about the night we went out to the overlook on the savannah to see the animals with their grandparents. These little moments become core memories.
With your resort stay booked and tickets purchased, you should be all set for your visit to Walt Disney World. If your mother does not put you over the allowed number of Guests for your room type, you should be able to add her to the room. You can
call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to speak with a Cast Member about making her a part of your resort reservation. Once she is on the reservation, she can use a Key to the World Card,
MagicBand+ or the
My Disney Experience App to access the room. The only instance I can think of that may pose a challenge is if you plan on adding a
dining plan to your package. Dining plans include all Guests on your resort reservation. She should be able to stay as a part of your resort reservation without having to purchase theme park tickets, but if you have a dining plan, she would be added to the Guests on your plan.
The
deluxe resorts have so much available for Guests to enjoy. I hope you plan time in your vacation for delicious dining and the amenities available at your resort for a perfect day with your whole family!
