Greetings Victoria! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're receiving a lot of new information these days as Walt Disney World prepares for its exciting reopening, and now the time has come to purchase theme park admission for 2020 adventures! I feel like I'm more excited than Princess Anna on coronation day. Finally, they're opening up the gates!
Like you Victoria, I have a vacation planned later this year, so I've been watching the
Disney Parks Blog closely for announcements regarding ticket sales. I also understand the uncertain times we are all experiencing and the desire for flexibility. While
Walt Disney World tickets are nonrefundable, if your plans change, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price. That's great news, as you will never lose the money you spent on your ticket, even if you are unable to use it.
If you have future travel days in mind, you can also modify your tickets, including your ticket dates, before midnight Eastern Standard Time of the day before your ticket’s first valid use date. There’s no fee to change, but an additional cost may apply to upgrade to a new date.
I hope this helps as you continue to prepare for your winter getaway to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Don't forget to reserve your theme park days using the
Disney Park Pass System, and be sure to keep your Mickey Mouse ears open as more information is released about
park operations and any
holiday happenings that may coincide with your visit. Come back and see us if there is anything else we can do to make your stay more magical.
Have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
Betsy
