    we have a reservation for Dec 28-Jan 4 - will magic bands be available then - and if so, how soon can we order/customized bands?

    Hi Kimberley!
    The short answer to your questions is...Hopefully!
    MagicBands remain in "testing" phase and it is hoped that they will be available "later this year."
    The program is very complex and there is still lots being done behind the scenes. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog as full rollout information becomes available. Hang in there!
    As for customization, that is further on down the line.
