Melanie, please wish your daughter a very 'Happy Birthday' from the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
When my daughter was younger, we never missed the opportunity to visit the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - Magic Kingdom location. She absolutely LOVED the experience of being pampered by a Fairy Godmother-in-Training, and then seeing herself being magically transformed into a princess!
The first time we visited the enchanted beauty salon in Cinderella Castle I inquired about tipping the Fairy Godmother-in-Training and found that tips were not accepted. I was told to acknowledge exceptional service by simply filling out a comment card. However, some years ago the no-tipping policy changed. You can now tip the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training. You won't be able to add a gratuity to your charge receipt, as they only accept cash tips. So yes, please bring money to the appointment if you wish to leave a tip. It's typically customary to leave 10%-15% of the cost of service. Should you feel the service received merits it, then you are more than welcome to acknowledge exceptional service with a more substantial gratuity; but please don't forget to fill out that comment card too.
Disney Mom Tip: Book a meal with Disney princesses at
Cinderella's Royal Table. You may even enhance the experience by adding a delightful
princess proclamation or creating a magical storybook moment.
Wishing your little princess an unforgettable magical birthday celebration at the place where
The Magic is Endless!
