Welcome Jessica!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney; you’re smart to think through the logistics of getting to your special breakfast reservation on time. I just experienced this a few weeks ago and am excited to share the details with you to ease your mind.
Early Theme Park Entry is advertised for guests of Disney Resort Collection hotels to enjoy access to the theme parks 30 minutes before
park opening time. However, ALL Guests are allowed through the front entrance of the parks approximately one hour before park opening time, and then Disney Resort Guests have a second checkpoint to confirm their resort reservation and are allowed entry deeper into the park to enjoy some attractions by the Early Entry time posted.
This means that you may enter the front gate of
Magic Kingdom Park when it opens to all Guests, approximately 8:00am that morning. You can stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of anticipation for another great theme park day. There are Cast Members holding signs at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. to provide directions for different Guest experiences that morning. You can head to
The Crystal Palace where you then check in on your My Disney Experience app to confirm your arrival, party size, and any special requests.
When I was in line to enter Magic Kingdom Park in December, a family behind me was so worried that they would miss their breakfast reservation due to this early time and the park not being open yet. I was able to reassure them in person, and I hope my experience helps manage expectations for your exciting trip ahead too.
Breakfast at the Crystal Palace was on my son’s “must-do” list for our recent trip. He is nearly 12 but says you're never too old for Winnie the Pooh, and I agree! Celebrating Friendship Day with our pals from the Hundred Acre Wood with a scrumptious breakfast buffet sounds like the perfect way to start your day in Magic Kingdom Park.
Please
stop by with any other questions as you finalize your vacation details.
TTFN (ta ta for now),
