Hey, Carrie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love visiting my friends from the Hundred Acre Wood on sunny days and blustery days. That little Pooh bear is so silly.
The Crystal Palace was our early dining reservation of choice for two birthday breakfasts for my son. It's wonderfully open with a delicious buffet. Just be careful, we bounce in like Tigger and waddle out like Pooh.
You have plenty of time.
Monorail service begins running about 30 minutes before earliest theme park opening.
Buses begin running at least one hour prior to theme park opening but for early dining reservations, they start even earlier. Please check with the concierge at your Resort hotel for definitive times the night before your reservation.
We have never needed more than 60 minutes to get to the magnificent glass building on the west side of the Plaza in Magic Kingdom Park.
Once at Magic Kingdom Park, look for Cast Members on the left side of the main gate with signs for “early dining reservations and tours." You will need to check in with them. They will look for your name on a list before allowing you inside the park. I suggest you print off a copy or take a screen shot of your reservation and carry it with you in case your name is not on the list.
Disney Dad Tip: Once inside Magic Kingdom Park, you will be able to have a more private view of Main Street, U.S.A., Cinderella Castle and even New Fantasyland. Be sure to take lots of pictures.
Bon appetite!
Carrie, enjoy making and eating many Magical Memories!
