Royal greetings, Andrea!
Thanks for reaching out to planDisney with your thoughtful question. I’m excited to see you have a special vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort planned for this February. My family has loved our visits at this time of year; it’s so nice to have a trip to look forward to after the holidays and a Florida escape from our mid-Atlantic winter weather! While it may not seem intuitive that you have a dining reservation beginning as
Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to close, I’m happy to share what you can expect.
Please be assured that you will have the same complete experience at the stunning
Cinderella's Royal Table as families with an earlier dining reservation will have, and you won’t be cut short or asked to leave just after 9:00 P.M. The park closing time is typically when Guests may no longer enter an attraction queue, but it will take some time for everyone to finish their day's activities and leave Magic Kingdom Park. After your meal, complete with all the delicious courses served and every princess visit, you will be asked to exit the theme park. However, you will be enchanted by a near-empty Main Street, U.S.A. with stunning lighting and music to escort you on your way. This is a rare experience so if the dining time suits your family, I encourage you to soak up the special memories made together! Please know the 8:55 P.M. table won’t be an issue when it comes to park closing procedures and your experience.
With a later dinner, I hope you can maximize the magic on this special theme park day! You should be able to enjoy the
nighttime spectacular before your meal and enjoy all the attractions you can handle in one full day before relaxing for this wonderful meal in the iconic Cinderella Castle.
Please let us know if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit or would like any more tips to make the most of your stay.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy
