Hi Rita!
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You didn't mention if your family will be using the
Disney Dining Plan during this visit. If the Magic Your Way Vacation Package you have does not include the Disney Dining Plan, you will be required to make a full pre-payment for any dining reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table.
Cinderella's Royal Table offers a prix fixe menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When making your reservation, you'll have to list the ages of Guests in your party. Since your 2 year old son is considered one of Mickey's Special Guests, he will not be required to pay for a kids' meal. In fact, he is more than welcome to eat off any adult's plate in your party. Cast Members are very accommodating, and will even bring a clean plate to your table. That way, you can share the meal from your own plate with the young prince. However, if you do decide to go ahead and order anything else for your son from the menu, you will definitely be charged for those extra items.
You might have heard of children 3 years old, and under, receiving "free" Kids' Meals at Disney dining locations. I believe this in reference to
Buffet/Family Style Disney restaurants where Guests 3 years old, and under, get to eat for free. Cinderella's Royal Table is not that type of dining experience, instead it is considered a Disney Fine/Signature Dining restaurant. Therefore, if you order a kids' meal off the menu, you'll have to pay for it, even if your son is only 2 years old.
Wishing your family a most unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
