Hi there, Kaitlin, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this awesome question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It sounds like you're arriving in just a couple of short days, and you must be so excited! Thank you for stopping by!
Kaitlin, you'll be happy to know that Guests are typically able to enter
Magic Kingdom Park about an hour before the park opens. Guests can explore Main Street, U.S.A. and the area in front of Cinderella Castle until the park opens. When you head down Main Street, U.S.A., you'll start to see Cast Members holding signs that direct Guests with
Advance Dining Reservations to their restaurant. I suggest arriving as early as possible so that you have plenty of time to go through security and take a photo before heading to breakfast.
Check with the Front Desk at your
hotel to confirm what time the buses typically start running from your Resort to Magic Kingdom park - usually this is about an hour before the park opens. If you're on one of the first buses to leave, you should be able to make it in time for your reservation, since the buses drop Guests off right at the entrance to the park. If you drive, you'll spend time parking, going through the Transportation & Ticket Center, and taking either a ferry or Monorail to the entrance of the park.
Kaitlin, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan for your visit. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
Jennifer
