I have a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table on January 20, 2026 at 6.55pm. It's our first time at Disney World so we really don't want to miss HEA. Assuming it happens at 9pm, do you think we can make it out in time after our dinner

    Hiya, Kavya! Welcome to planDisney!

Just hearing your plans puts a smile on my face. A first-time visit to Walt Disney World, a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table, and Happily Ever After fireworks, that sounds like a magical day if I ever heard of one! Your visit is fast approaching, so let’s dive right in!

My family and I have dined at Cinderella’s Royal Table twice before, most recently in the spring of 2025. Both times the whole experience, from check-in to walking out of the restaurant, was between 60 and 90 minutes. It can definitely be a longer dining experience than some of the other table-service restaurants on property.

That said, the Cast Members at Cinderella’s Royal Table are fantastic, and it runs like a well-oiled machine! I looked ahead at the events calendar on the Walt Disney World website, and as of this writing, Happily Ever After is scheduled for 9 PM on January 20. Please note that showtimes are subject to change and may be impacted by inclement weather, so I strongly suggest checking the evening forecast and the events calendar on the day of your visit. With that in mind, in my experience, you should have plenty of time to catch the fireworks after your dining experience.

Of course, there can always be some unexpected hiccups that may cause delays. For example, if the restaurant is running behind, you could be seated past your reservation time, bringing the end of your experience closer to the 9 PM Happily Ever After fireworks. While I can’t offer any guarantees, based on my experience, I’m confident you’ll be able to enjoy both!

I’ll leave you with one last piece of advice: soak it all in! You’re planning a wonderful evening at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Also, I’m partial to The Clock Strikes Twelve dessert. I highly recommend it!

I hope you have a fantastic visit, Kavya! If you have any other questions, please come back and see us here at planDisney!
