Many Royal Greetings, Emerson! Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with this question. I teasingly refer to myself as a Disney Ninja, because getting around
Magic Kingdom is one of my specialties. I know just the route to send you on, to hopefully avoid as much of the crowd as possible.
Since your reservation is at 8:30pm, you’ll want to check in around 8:20. This will allow your hosts to ready your table and make any accommodations that are necessary for your table. That being said, please also know that at this popular time in Magic Kingdom, you may need to allow up to 90 minutes to arrive from your destination. Monorail and Bus lines can be fairly congested (not to mention security checkpoints) as guests flock to see the nighttime spectaculars.
As you head down Main Street, U.S.A., know that you can duck into the long, large store called the Emporium, if the streets is too crowded. Take it all the way through Casey’s Corner and out to the hub, skirting along the left hand side. Pass the
Crystal Palace on your left, and go “straight” across the little bridges past Adventureland, Liberty Square and it’s tiny
Sleepy Hollow eatery (come back here and get the Fresh Fruit Waffle. You’ll love the flavors!). Then, take the narrow path that connects Liberty Square and the back of the castle, up past Cinderella Fountain and you’ll find yourself right on the backside of the Castle, with the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table to your right hand side. It has been a pleasure helping you sneak around the park like an Invisible Monsters, Inc. Randall! Let me know if you need any more help with your magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
