Hey there Jaimie, and welcome to planDisney!
I can definitely understand the feeling of having multiple reservations to get to, as folks and families alike do their best to make the most and experience it all during any theme park day. As it so happens, I'm currently out and about at
Magic Kingdom Park today so I went to ask the Cast Members directly for their thoughts and here's what they shared with me:
- Over at Cinderella's Royal Table they said it might be a good idea to pop by a little earlier, and also to let the Cast Members know that you'll be intending to check in for your Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party - Seats and Sweets over at Tomorrowland Terrace. Depending on how your meal goes and overall speed of service, some families choose to send someone over early to wait in line for them if snagging a good spot is a priority.
- That said, in my experience there's often a wait in line as everyone gets checked in and we've definitely shown up late to a Dessert Party only to be escorted right in without any wait for a table or even the snacks. (I personally wouldn't worry too much about not having first dibs on any of the treats as they do get replenished and you'll very likely still be full from the delectable desserts on the menu that you had just dined on in Cinderella Castle. The Cast Members let me know that while they do let in latecomers, there is no guarantee that you'll necessarily have the best view if you do so.
You might have luck by visiting the Cast Members at the podium outside Cinderella's Royal Table earlier in the day to see whether an earlier reservation time may be available, just to avoid having to hoof it over right after a several-course meal. Something important to bear in mind is that during the week that you indicated that you'll be visiting,
Happily Ever After is scheduled to take place at 8:00 P.M. and you'll find pathways blocked off in advance of the show as you make your way over to Tomorrowland; depending on when you leave your dinner this could mean a longer trek just to avoid any route diversions!
Personally I'd try my best to put as much space as possible between these reservations - especially since the biggest draw of this Dessert Party during such a popular time of the year is the view and the snacks themselves - and you wouldn't want to miss out on really enjoying either of these things!
Wishing you all the best on your evening adventures next month!
