We have a 7:55am reservation at Cinderella's Royal Breakfast. I know once we arrive at Magic Kingdom parking we will have to take additional transportation to the park (by boat or monorail?) Which way is faster to guarantee we make it on time?

    Hello, Robyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We are so excited to assist you in planning your upcoming Disney vacation!

You are correct! To get from the Transportation and Ticket Center, parking lot, you will take the Ferry or Monorail. Some mornings, only the ferry will be available to transport guests, as the Monorail will be closed until later in the day.

If, on arrival, both the ferry and Monorail are operating there is no guarantee as to which will get you there faster. If you make it to the ferry near the end of the boarding process, the boat would get you to the Magic Kingdom little bit faster. Or you could board the Monorail and have no technical issues or boarding problems and beat the ferry to the park entrance. Riding the Monorail will get you to the Magic Kingdom after two quick stops at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

But there is no sure fire way of knowing which option is faster.

However, I would suggest that you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center in enough time, no later than 7:00-am-7:15 am, to ensure that you make it to your Advanced Dining Reservation on time.

I hope this helps with your planning! No matter which option you choose, you're at the most magical place on Earth!

    Enjoy your vacation!
