I have a reservation for the Cinderella dinner in August 2014 at 9:15pm. Is there any thing I should know before I arrive? Its my first time coming to Disney.

    Hi Erica:

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on booking your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table is my daughter's favourite, so we have enjoyed many meals at this dining location.  For your first visit, sit back and enjoy the moment.  The experiences is filled with the so many magical moments, I like to just watch my daughter enjoy her time in Cinderella Castle.  I also like to take the time to really look around at all of the details in the restaurant, especially when you first enter.  Don't forget to look up!  My daughter loves finding Gus Gus and Jack the mice downstairs.  If you are wanting to get some autographs, please remember to bring your autograph book and camera.  I find that the princesses really take the time to chat with guests, ask them about certain characters in their stories, their answers are always great!  My daughter always asks Jasmine where the Magic Carpet is hiding, it is too funny!

Given the timing of your reservation, you may be dining during Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, so I would recommend arriving a few minutes early, and request a table close to the window.  You may be able to see the fireworks while dining in Cinderella Castle, I can't imagine anything more magical!  I would also recommend that if you have any questions about your meal, or would like to make a substitution, ask.  I am a very picky eater, and I have found that the Cast Members are very good at accommodating changes and substitutions for myself and my family.  Also, please remember that gratuities have been included for this dining experience.  There is no need to add additional gratuity at the end of your meal.

I hope that helps Erica.  If you think of any other questions, please let me know.  I would love to hear from you again as you continue to plan your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
