Hi, I have a reservation for me and my 2 children (family room). My husband is in the US at the same time for work and was considering staying with us for 2 nights of the trip. Is that allowed please or would we have to pay extra?

    Hi Hayley,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! So excited to hear about your upcoming vacation!

Hayley, when it comes to Disney Resort Collection hotel reservations, you aren’t able to add a guest for a specific number of nights (two nights in your case) to the reservation.

However, you can add your husband to the reservation for the duration of your stay. Keep in mind if you do this and you purchased tickets as a part of a package with your hotel stay, there would most likely be a charge to add a ticket for that time as well.

It might be best to connect with the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team so that they can confirm the possibility of adding your husband. The biggest factor is if he’d be using Park tickets on the days he’s staying. If he does end up going to the Theme Parks, remember that you’ll need to book his Theme Park Reservations and have them mirror yours for the days he’s in town. This way you can all go to the Parks together!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort holiday. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
