10/30 we have a 10:55 reservation at Chef Mickey's. Think we can do a couple of things at MK first? We are staying off property but plan to be there b/f rope drop. What time should we get monorail at MK to get to Contemporary on time?

    Hi Kristin:

I agree that you should be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom prior to your Chef Mickey's reservation.  I would hop on the monorail about 15, maybe 20 minutes prior to your reservation.  I don't think it's a bad idea to see if you can check in a couple of minutes early, so maybe you want to hop on the monorail at 10:30.  Alternatively, you can take the walkway between Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary that should take you about 15 minutes.

    Enjoy your vacation.
