    We have a 7:05 am reservation at Chef Mickey's and are staying at All Star Movies. What is the best route to be able to make our reservation?

    You have chosen a great place to dine and get your day started. You will love the variety and abundance of the breakfast buffet offerings. And to top that off, what better way to start the day than with Mickey and his friends.

    The good news is that with a reservation that early in the day, there are special "character breakfast buses" that take guests who have early morning reservations prior to park openings. Typically, the regular buses start running 60-90 minutes prior to park opening, so this special bus would be the way to go. Check with the front desk at All-Star Movies upon check-in or the day before your reservation to find out exactly where and when you catch this bus. These buses will be going to the theme parks, but you can then walk to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom bus stop or transfer to the resort monorail. The walk from the bus area to the Contemporary can take about 10-15 minutes. I always like to allow about an hour for travel between resorts to allow time for the transfer (or walk). Again, check with the front desk and the cast member will be able to help you time it just right!

    Another suggestion would be to take a cab from the All-Star Movies to the Contemporary. This cab ride would cost you around $10-$13. Again, this is just an estimate that I found by doing an online search for cab fare between the two resorts and is not a guaranteed amount.  Be sure to ask the driver or bell services to give you an estimate beforehand.
