We have a reservation at Chef Mickey's at 7:05am. Magic Kingdom does not open until 9am on that day. Will we be able to park at MK early enough to make it to The Contemporary on foot? We are not staying on site.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa!

There’s nothing like a meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse and his friends along with a delicious meal at Chef Mickey’s. Yum! I can already taste the Mickey Waffles.

When it comes to parking for dining reservations at Disney Resort hotels, you are allowed a maximum of three hours parking at no charge. This is for both Guests staying on or off of Walt Disney World Resort property. However, if you’re planning to go to Magic Kingdom Theme Park later in the day, you will need to move your vehicle to the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Another option would be to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center before your breakfast reservation (don’t worry, you shouldn’t have any issues finding a spot early in the morning). It's a little hike, so you'll want to hop on the Resort Monorail. Disney's Contemporary Resort will be the fourth stop. Then, if you're planning to After breakfast, you can simply walk to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Contemporary Resort to begin your magical day!

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
