Hi Deborah! I get it! In all our excitement for a Disney Dining reservation, we might arrive a bit early!
I recommend not arriving more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation, especially for a later dinner reservation. If you happen to arrive early, you can always notify the Cast Members at the front desk that you have arrived. If they can seat your party a few minutes early, they will do so. If they are unable to seat you immediately, I recommend taking those few extra minutes to do a quick exploration of
Disney’s Contemporary Resort! You don’t want to wander too far away as you wait. There are a few resort gift shops around
Chef Mickey’s that you might enjoy visiting as you wait for your dining reservation. I also enjoy watching the Monorail arrive and depart!
Deborah, congratulations on scoring that (very popular) Disney Dining reservation at Chef Mickey’s! It is one of my family’s favorites! Have your camera ready because you are going to get to meet some of your favorite Disney characters as you enjoy the delicious dining experience!
Happy Planning!
