We have 10:50 am reservation at Chef Mickey. We'd like to be in the Magic Kindgdom for the rope drop and early rides, then head to Chef Mickey and then back to Magic Kingdom. Are we able to do that without going back through the main ticket entrance?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think splitting up your park day with a meal at Chef Mickey's is a great idea. The fact that the home of Chef Mickey's, Disney's Contemporary Resort, is so close to Magic Kingdom Park makes your plan very workable. However, you will have to exit Magic Kingdom Park and re-enter when you return.

Disney's Contemporary Resort is a quick walk from Magic Kingdom Park or you can hop on the Resort Loop of the Monorail. We like to ride the Monorail at least once during our vacations and frequently it's when we have a dining reservation at one of the resorts. We have traveled with friends who have mobility issues and a break to ride on the Monorail was always welcome.

Kelly, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions!
    Wishing you a magical day,
    Amy H.
