We have 2:00 reservation at Chef Mickey and then tickets to Mickeys Christmas which starts at 7:00. Do not want to go back to resort between the two. What do you suggest we do with the extra time. 5 adults, 2 children under 6.

Hello Margaret and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Wow! It sure sounds like your family has some extra magical plans already made for their upcoming trip during the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort where I just know you'll create some unforgettable memories together which will last an entire lifetime.
I'd like to suggest moseying along to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as a fun thing to do between finishing your late lunch at Chef Mickey's and entering the Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The Fort as it's often known can be easily reached via ferry boat from the marina at Disney's Contemporary Resort and after a gentle 20 minute or so boat ride docks at the marina at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Guests visiting the peaceful quietness of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have a plethora of Recreation experiences to try or can simply opt to lounge on the beach with a cool beverage purchased from the nearby Crockett's Tavern whilst the little ones enjoy the outdoor children's Playground or perhaps even a fun game on the tethered swing-ball!
