So Lauren, let’s jump right into your question. You will be happy to know that since you are dining at Chef Mickey’s, you are eligible for complimentary
self-parking at the
Contemporary Resort. When you arrive at the security gate, just let the Cast Member know that you have a dining reservation at Chef Mickey’s. They will verify your reservation and direct you where to park. Disney really makes this part of the experience smooth and stress-free, so you can focus on the fun ahead.
While you are at the Contemporary, I also recommend taking a little time to explore one of my favorite merchandise shops. Just across from Chef Mickey’s, you will find
Bayview Gifts. This store always seems to have exactly what I am looking for, and sometimes a few things I did not even know I needed. From stylish Disney bags to home décor and special souvenirs, it is a great place to browse while soaking in those
monorail views.
