    We have a reservation at Chef Mickey. However, we haven't checked into our resort yet. Can we still apply our bill to our magic bands if the app says active? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for sending your question our way. An arrival day meal with Mickey and pals at Chef Mickey’s is one of those iconic experiences – I can’t think of a better way to say “welcome home” than being right in the middle of the magic with the main mouse himself!

    If you’ve used Walt Disney World Resort’s Online Check-In process, your MagicBand should be good to go as soon as you pass under the “Where Dreams Come True” sign (I always get happy tears!). As part of this process, you link a credit card to your reservation, to which your room charges will be applied. If your Online Check-In is complete, you’ll receive a text or email with your room number, and you’ll be able to start charging to your MagicBand as soon as you’ve arrived. If you haven’t used Online Check-In, you will need to stop by your resort to check in before your MagicBand will work for charging to your resort hotel room.

    Silvio, I hope your meal with Mickey and his fab friends is scrumptious and the perfect start to your magical vacation. Now, more than ever, it’s an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, with so many new experiences around the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs – have SO much fun!
