Just got reservation at Chef Mickey for dinner we have the disney dining plan I am reading it right we won't have to pay extra it cost so much just wanted to make sure. Read so so reveiws about food what is the MP thoughts? No kids just adults will we like

Hi Nicole! I'm so happy that you got reservations at Chef Mickey's because it is one of the more popular dining experiences, and reservations tend to go fast. It is somewhat of a tradition for my family to have dinner at Chef Mickey's on the first night of our vacation. We feel that the high-energy atmosphere is the perfect way to kick-off the start of a Walt Disney World trip.

Since you are on the dining plan your meal is already paid for. You won't have to pay for anything extra with the exception of a tip for your server. At the end of your meal, simply tell your server that you are on the dining plan, and they will scan your Magic Band for the Table Service dining credit.

Chef Mickey's is an all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience, so there are many delicious options in regards to food choice. At buffets I always get a little bit of everything so I can taste it all, and then I'll go back for a plate of my favorites. It is also a Character Dining Experience so Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald will come by your table during your meal for a hug, an autograph or a picture. Atmosphere and Character Experience aside, the food at Chef Mickey's is similar to other buffet-style meals at Walt Disney World. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the food at Chef Mickey's, but I wouldn't say that it is my favorite Table-Service meal at Walt Disney World. On our last vacation we had lunch reservations at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and we were blown away by the quality of the food. We still talk today about how that was our favorite meal of the trip.

I'm not sure where you read reviews on Chef Mickey's, but anytime I am researching a restaurant I go to www.disneyfoodblog.com. They have lots of pictures, and are always honest about the food.

If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by and I'd be happy to help.

    Have a magical day!
