Hi Jeremy,
Welcome to planDisney! We are delighted to have you stop by with a great question!
Well, you have chosen a beautiful resort with
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! Although you could request a crib, you would have little room to move around. Given the size of your group and the ages of the other kids, I suggest that you consider
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The cabins sleep up to six adults and include a kitchen. Another option would be a family suite at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The family suites also sleep up to six adults and have two bathrooms!
The good news is that both Disney's Caribbean Beach and Disney's Art of Animation Resorts have access to the
Disney Skyliner. Although my family was a little wary of the Skyliner on our last trip, they loved it and it proved to be quite the time saver when we were trying to get from Disney's BoardWalk to breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace: Flavors of the Riviera. Regardless of where you choose to stay, I do highly recommend breakfast here. It is one of our absolute favorite restaurants!
When my husband and I stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time, it was only our second trip to the Walt Disney World Resort as a couple and we had no idea about the importance of room locations. So, be sure to look at a resort map and request a specific building. We now always request a room that is close to transportation and the main dining area of the resort. I remember going running on the
jogging trail several mornings when we first stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It was so peaceful!
Jeremy, I trust that you will make the best decision for your family. Sending pixie dust your way as you explore your options. We cannot wait to welcome you back to a
world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
