Hi, Sharel!
I'm so glad to hear that you've got a reservation at Cape May Cafe! All of the Character meals at Walt Disney World are extremely popular and you can start making Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to the date you want to visit, so you definitely want to make one if you can! Occasionally, spots will open up last minute, but if your heart is set on a certain restaurant, I would not take the chance of missing it by not having a reservation.
I dined at Cape May Cafe last month with my extended family and we had an amazing time! The Character interactions at breakfast were a lot of fun! When we were there, we met Goofy, Donald Duck, and Minnie Mouse and they were all dressed up in their beach-themed costumes. Characters are always subject to change, but Mickey Mouse does not typically visit Cape May Cafe because he's very busy hosting breakfast and interacting with his Guests at Chef Mickey's. One of my very favorite breakfast items at Cape May Cafe is their specialty French Toast Bread Pudding! It's really to die for!
Our family absolutely loves Chef Mickey's also. One of the biggest highlights of Chef Mickey's is that The Big Cheese himself is the host! It's also a very cool atmosphere with the monorail sailing by overhead! There are lots of other options for
meeting Mickey around the Parks after your Cape May Beach Club Breakfast. My favorite location is
Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park!
I hope that helps, Sharel! Please stop back by if you think of any other questions we can help with!
Have a Pixie Dusted vacation and Bon Appétit!
