Hey there, Alexa! Welcome to planDisney!
Walt Disney World Resort is roughly double the size of the island of Manhattan, so even experienced explorers need directions sometimes. That’s where the
My Disney Experience app comes in. The app provides step-by-step directions to most locations around the resort, as well as estimated travel times and multiple route options using Disney transportation (depending on your starting point). So make sure to download the app to your mobile device.
It’s important to remember that route suggestions and travel times may vary based on the date you’re traveling. At the time I’m writing this, the My Disney Experience app is suggesting walking from Saratoga Springs to either of the bus stops at Disney Springs (there is one by Town Center and another on the west side at E Buena Vista Drive and Bonnet Creek Parkway), and then taking a
complimentary bus to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. From there, you can walk along the shores of Crescent Lake to Beach Club Resort and
Cape May Cafe. The app estimates this to be a 56-minute trip.
If buses are running from Saratoga Springs to Hollywood Studios early enough on your reservation date, you could also take a bus to Hollywood Studios and then take a
water taxi or walk to Beach Club Resort. You could also take the Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, but that involves transferring at Caribbean Beach Resort, and it can be quite busy in the mornings. With so many options, I’d suggest having a preliminary travel plan and then double-checking the directions on the app closer to your reservation to ensure there isn’t a better route.
I hope this information helps get you where you need to go, Alexa. Pop right back if you have additional questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
