Do you have to have a reservation to make a candle at Basin White in the Grand Floridian?

    Welcome to planDisney, Candice!

Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for next month's Disney adventure. You must be so excited that your magical vacation is almost here.

I'm happy to share that you do not need to make reservations or plan ahead to make your own scented candle at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa's Basin White. Let your senses be your guide as you step off the resort monorail and into this charming shop. My children and I have yet to try candle-making, but we love testing different bath salts and soaps in the sink here.

Since you're visiting during the most festive time of year, the lobby at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be bustling with Guests visiting the Gingerbread House. Plan to spend time exploring the display while you're in the area. Additionally, prepare for busier-than-usual transportation and shopping experiences, especially in the evening when Guests arrive for dining reservations or return home for the night.

I hope this is helpful, Candice, and you have a fantastic time on your December vacation. Thanks again for sending your question to us, and please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can do anything else to make your trip even more merry.

Wishing you a happy holiday season,
    Betsy
