Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, but I’m afraid we’ll have to settle for some other options. There is no direct bus from Port Orleans to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, so you will need to take a bus from your resort hotel to
Magic Kingdom Park. From there, you can either walk or take the
monorail to the Contemporary Resort. It will take about 10 minutes to walk. The monorail may take a little longer because you’ll need to walk about 5 minutes from the bus stop to the monorail station and may need to wait for a monorail to arrive, but this will drop you off directly inside the Contemporary Resort.
Alternatively, you could take a
Minnie Van door to door from Port Orleans - French Quarter to the Contemporary. Since you may be dressed up for your birthday dinner, this could be a great option for you. I love the Minnie Van service! The Cast Members are always so kind and engaging, and the private transportation makes me feel like I'm riding in style as a VIP. If you are interested in a Minnie Van, you can arrange a ride through the Lyft app.
