    We have a 9:15 reservation at the California Grill on March 2. The fireworks are at 8:00. Can we arrive early for our reservation and watch the fireworks from the Observation Deck?

    Hello Megan,

    One of my favorite things to do at Disney is eat. And I love California Grill not just for the fine dining experience but for the spectacular view. It doesn't get much better than that!

    Although the restaurant is on the 15th floor of the Contemporary Resort, Guests check in at a reception desk on the hotel's second floor. If you want to check in prior to your reservation time, inquire about seating availability in the restaurant lounge. From my experience, the reception desk staff will make every attempt to accommodate you and your party in the lounge. And if you time it just right, you can be in the lounge when they dim the lights and pipe in the music for the show, or you can take in the fireworks from the Observation Deck.
