We have a reservation at Cake Bake Shop for dinner and are annual pass holders. After dinner we would like to watch the concert at Epcot before heading home. Do we need to move our car or can we leave it at Boardwalk for that short time, maybe 3 hours total

    Hey, Diane! Welcome to planDisney.

Dinner and a show—what a wonderful idea! Whilst I haven’t had the chance to dine at The Cake Bake Shop yet, I’ve only heard glowing reviews. And you’re absolutely right, there’s no better way to cap off your evening than with a leisurely stroll along Disney’s BoardWalk before heading through the International Gateway to enjoy Luminous The Symphony of Us.

You’ll be glad to know you can absolutely leave your car parked at Disney’s BoardWalk. Guests with dining reservations are typically permitted to park for up to three hours at no additional cost. Simply let the Cast Member at the entrance know that you have a dining reservation, and they’ll guide you from there. Do keep in mind that parking availability can be limited, so it’s a good idea to arrive a little early.

After the fireworks, take your time on the walk back. Take in the sounds, the sights, the smells (ignore the crying kids who've been going hard all day and are past their bedtimes). It’s a lovely way to extend the magic of your evening without rushing straight to the car.
