If we have a reservation to build a lightsaber do we need to stand in line to pay or do we just arrive 15 minutes before and pay then?

    Bright suns, Karrie!

Welcome, you are, to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m thankful for the chance to help you prepare for your visit to a galaxy far, far away.

You are correct that you will simply need to arrive at about the time of your reservation. Up to 15 minutes is a good amount of time, to both check in and pay for your experience with the Gatherers of Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers.

I just know you are going to love building your own lightsaber. I got to watch as my son built his own lightsaber under the guidance of the Gatherers. He was so happy to be living his own Star Wars adventure. We just returned from another visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Our family’s Star Wars adventures expanded more as we accepted the invitation to join the Resistance in the struggle against the First Order in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Tony’s Tip: When you pay for your experience at Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers, you may choose to use the same form of payment used to secure the reservation. Or you may select a different form of payment. Of course, the Gatherers also accept the Batuuan Spira and other forms of Disney Gift Card.

If you have any more questions about your Disneyland Resort vacation, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We’re happy to help.

May the Force be with you, Karrie!
