Hi Wayne! Welcome to planDisney.
I'm so glad to hear you've got a reservation at
Droid Depot. Be sure to look up when you're inside the workshop, as you'll see some familiar parts overhead. This shop is truly a Star Wars fan's happy place!
In the Know Before You Go information for Droid Depot, Guests are advised to arrive 15 minutes in advance of their reservation time. But don't worry, this isn't the race against the clock that we see in the Star Wars movies. You'll be able to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios early in order to get to Droid Depot on time. I recommend arriving at 8:30 a.m.; when you get there, look for a Cast Member holding a sign for "Guests with Reservations" (they are usually stationed at the far left or right of the tapstiles). If you don't see one, head to any Cast Member and let them know you have a 9:00 a.m. reservation and they will help you out.
Wayne, I recommend looking at a
Park Map for Disney's Hollywood Studios before your visit.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge can be confusing to navigate, especially since spots like Droid Depot and Savi's Workshop are hidden from the First Order troops' eyes. Cast Members on Batuu will be happy to help you find your way. Here's a fun tip: follow the droid tracks in the ground.
Have so much fun visiting a galaxy far, far away. If you're looking for a snack, my family loves Ronto Wraps, which can be found at
Ronto Roasters. (I actually prefer the menu at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, where you can get some great cocktails and dessert.) For a refreshing drink, stop by
Milk Stand for a cup of blue or green milk. As you dream about your Star Wars adventure, please come back and see us if you think of any more questions.
May the Force be with you,
Robyn
