I have a reservation to build a droid. A friend, who is not in my group, cannot get an appointment for his grandson, who really wants to have the chance to build one. Is it possible to transfer or “gift” them my reservation?

Hi Janice, and welcome back to planDisney!

I can tell you from experience that the Droid Depot at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was so much fun for my family when we experienced it.

According to the website (under Reservations) it states that, “Reservations are nontransferable and may not be sold or bartered.” So, unfortunately, you won’t be able to “gift” your friend with your reservation; however, there is possibly good news. Each day, a limited number of same-day reservations may be available up to 2 hours in advance. Walk-ins may also be accommodated based on the day’s availability. If your friend cannot get a reservation before their arrival, I recommend arriving early on the day of their planned visit to see if they can secure one of those reservations. Sending loads of pixie dust your way so your friend’s grandson can build his droid. I hope this helps.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical experience!
