Hi there, Karla, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the
Disneyland Resort!
I’m so excited for your upcoming celebration! How wonderful to have such a large group join in the festivities. The answer to your question depends on where you’re having the celebration. If it’s at a restaurant in
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park, then unfortunately, you won’t be able to bring your own cake. However, if it’s in the
Downtown Disney District, you can contact the restaurant directly to see if they will allow you to bring your own cake. Each restaurant may have different rules regarding this. If the celebration is inside one of the theme-park restaurants, I’m happy to report that you can have
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes delivered to select table-service restaurants at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, or one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. These cakes feed 4-6 Guests, so you’d need several to feed your large group. Mickey Celebration Cakes can be added to your online reservation. If you had more lead time, I’d also suggest ordering a
custom-designed cake for your large group instead. However, these cakes typically require four weeks advance notice. For any additional custom cake questions, please call (714) 781-3463.
Don’t forget to stop by City Hall (in Disneyland Park) or Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park) for a complimentary celebration button. Characters and Cast Members love to join in the celebration fun!
Wishing you a magical celebration at the Happiest Place on Earth, Karla!
