Ahoy, sailor Kayla, and welcome to planDisney, the best place on the Seven Seas to discover answers to your
Disney Cruise Line vacation questions.
Onboard Booking Offers or "placeholder reservations" are a must for my family because we save so much money on future cruises and the deposit is fully refundable if the reservation needs to be canceled (within the 24-month window). We never get off the ship before making the deposit through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. This is truly the best way to start planning for our next adventure with Captains Mickey and Minnie.
If you need to change your sailing date you will retain your "placeholder" discount provided it is not after final payment and you did not cancel your reservation. There is no fee to change the sailing date unless it is after the final payment then certain penalties will apply. Since you know you need to change it now, it is best to adjust your sailing date soon because it locks in the best rate for your stateroom.
planDisney Pro Tip: Carefully evaluate
deck plans to see which staterooms are best for your needs. There are some categories that offer amazingly large spaces and views for a much lower price.
Kayla, I hope it is smooth sailing for you to change your voyage. Please feel free to
write me directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the high seas.
