MagicBand+ pairing with Smart Phone; Minnie Mouse band

    I have a reservation booked, but it’s not showing that I can order magic bands for the discounted rate on my account. When should it show on my account to order my magic bands?

    Greetings, Jeremy!

    Welcome back to planDisney! It is wonderful to hear that you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation booked. It doesn't matter how far away it seems, any Disney countdown is a magical one!

    Once you book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, you should be able to go online to your My Disney Experience and order a MagicBand for your party members. You'll want to hover over "My Disney Experience" on the header at the top, once the dropdown menu appears, select "My MagicBands and Cards." This should pull up your MagicBand Order. It should list your Resort Reservation, each member of your party and tell you how many days you have to complete your order. If everything looks right, select "Get Started." From there, you'll have the choice of which MagicBand, MagicBand 2 or MagicBand+ design you want for each member.

    If you choose the MagicBand+, I recommend charging the night prior to your visit and also making sure that you bring the chargers with you to recharge each night! Like us, they work best when their Pixie Dust reserves are full. I did find out on our last trip though, that even when the light is red and the battery is depleted, the MagicBand+ will still work for getting into the park and Lighting Lane entry.
