I have my reservation and when I booked my hotel with Disney package both parks were available now the calendar say no park is available and we can’t make reservations until July 3. Hotel and ticket purchase was made June 14th

Hi there, Ruthie! Welcome to planDisney! I can see that your trip is just a few weeks away, and you're eager to get those Disneyland ducks in a row. Let's jump right into your question!

It sounds like you booked a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package that includes hotel accommodation as well as theme park tickets. I hope I got that right! While your actual theme park tickets will drop into your account four days prior to arrival, you should be able to use the confirmation number from your vacation package to make theme park reservations well ahead of time. As you have discovered, reservations can go quickly as they are subject to availability, so I recommend jumping into the theme park calendar as soon as you read this note and securing your dates.

To link your vacation package, simply log into the Disneyland Resort website. Navigate to the "My Disneyland" tab along the top navigation bar and select "My Hotel Reservations". Here you can simply enter the confirmation number you have for the vacation package, your last name, and your arrival date. Once linked, the theme park reservation system should open up to you!

Next, navigate to the "Parks & Tickets" tab and select "Ticket and Reservation Details". Under "If You've Already Purchased a Ticket", tap the button to "Make a Park Reservation". I just took a peek at the theme park reservation calendar, and it looks like there is availability at both parks for One Park Per Day and Park Hopper tickets. Of course, this can change on a dime, so definitely try to grab them as soon as you can!

One way to ensure those memories last forever is to book a new "Capture Your Moment" session! I literally cannot WAIT for my next visit to try out this new offering. A private 20-minute photography session with a seasoned Disney PhotoPass photographer in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle? YES, PLEASE! They will even bring some fun props! The cost of the session does not include the photos themselves, but if you have added Genie+ to your ticket, you are good to go as you will have access to unlimited digital downloads of all your photos that day. This brand new service starts July 11th, but you can secure your spot now! If this is something you are interested in but still unsure about, I would recommend going ahead and booking the session. You can always cancel it up to 1 day prior without a cancellation fee! General Disneyland rule of thumb, book now and decide later ... and be mindful of any cancellation policy!

Ruthie, I hope this was helpful in your planning! Come back to see us here at planDisney if you have any more questions.

    Magic awaits!
