Hi there. We have a reservation at BOG at 8:20 on a non-extra magic hours day. With the new opening process, will we now just be entering the park at the same time as everyone else at 8:00? What's the earliest we can enter MK for an ADR at this time?

Hi, Samantha! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your vacation! I absolutely adore early mornings in the Magic Kingdom. It’s always easier to wake up when I’m in the Happiest Place on Earth!

Your breakfast at Be Our Guest will be all a flurry of excitement and entertainment, and I don’t blame you for being so excited to get past Cinderella Castle and into your meal. If Magic Kingdom opens at 9 without Extra Magic Hours, guests will be let in as early as 8am (the welcome show will take place at 8:50 on the Forecourt Stage, but you will already be dining within the enchanted castle!). Sometimes, guests with breakfast reservations will find a special entry area as early as 7:45 at the Magic Kingdom turnstiles, so keep your eyes peeled for that sign.

With an 8:20 reservation, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the park as you slip past the Emporium, Main Street Bakery, and central hub on your way to breakfast in Fantasyland. Please double check park opening times during check-in, as schedules often change without notice. And, when your family is patting their full bellies after eating, be sure to visit with the Master himself, in his library on the way out of the castle.  He’s extremely pleasant and gives great hugs! Have a delicious breakfast, and be sure to try the gray stuff… it’s delicious! ~Lindsey P.
