One of my favorite parts of visiting either Disney California Adventure Park or Disneyland Park is experiencing the delicious food! Whether that is through snacks, quick service restaurants, or a dining reservation, there is no shortage of something yummy to fuel you for a day of fun in the parks.
It sounds like you are already planning for your dining reservations and that is a great strategy. Currently, reservations are open for booking 60 days in advance of your visit. If you'd like to book a table at
Blue Bayou for April 30, I'd suggest searching for a reservation right at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 1. Blue Bayou is one of the most popular restaurants at the Disneyland Resort, and you may find a dining reservation difficult to obtain. I have a few recommendations for you.
To help speed things along on the day the reservations open, I suggest that you become familiar with how to book a dining reservation either using the
Disneyland website or the
Disneyland app ahead of time.
If you do not see an available reservation for Blue Bayou, you may decide to book
Cafe Orleans as an alternative. If Blue Bayou later becomes available to book, you can easily adjust your plans.
Check back often to see if a dining reservation has opened up, even up until the day before you'd like to dine at Blue Bayou. Guests change their plans and a reservation may become available at any time.
If the day of your visit has arrived and you still were unable to reserve a time to dine at Blue Bayou, speak with Cast Members at the restaurant early in the day to see if a waitlist is available. You'll have even more luck if you are willing to dine between traditional lunch and dinner times.
