Hi, I have a reservation for Blue Bayou but I need to change the credit card I entered. How do I do that without losing my reservation?

    Hiya Michelle!

Welcome to planDisney! I had one of the most special experiences eating at Blue Bayou Restaurant when I last visited with my family. If I close my eyes and think hard I can almost taste the famous Monte Cristo and hear the sounds of the boats passing by from guests on Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm excited for your chance to experience it!

A credit card is entered during the initial dining reservation process as a way of ensuring that if you change your mind but do not cancel at least two hours before your reservation Disneyland Resort can charge you the $10 per person cancellation fee. It is not intended to be the card used for the meal and it may not be charged at all if you show up or cancel properly.  After speaking with a Cast Member, it was confirmed to me that there is no way to modify the credit card on an existing reservation. To change the card you would have to cancel and re-book with the new credit card. However, they repeated the fact that no charge will occur unless you miss the reservation without proper cancelation. When you arrive at your dining reservation, you can pay with any other valid form of payment and the old card will not be used. To prepare for your visit, can visit your My Disneyland profile and add or delete credit cards to your Disney account.

You will be arriving right at the start of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The Hours & Events Calendar is showing that when you arrive on November 19, 2023, you will have a chance to see A Christmas Fantasy Parade and the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular! Both of these events could be canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances so make sure to check the calendar often. I suggest you make every effort to not miss it!

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let us know!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
