Have a reservation for Blue Bayou and just found out an extra person is joining. What can we do?

    Hey Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your great question!

Congratulations on scoring a coveted dining reservation for Blue Bayou Restaurant! I tried to snag one for my upcoming trip and was unsuccessful. You're truly on top of it! One of my top tips for dining reservations is to make a reservation for the maximum number of people that may be in your dining party. It's much easier to reduce the size of your dining party and may be harder to increase the size.

That being said, I usually recommend modifying the reservation from the Disneyland Resort website by selecting “My Dining Reservations” from the “Things to Do” drop-down menu. Then select the "Change Reservation" hyperlink for the reservation you wish to modify. From there you should be able to increase your party size and look for a new reservation. If that does not work, you can wait until you check in for your reservation and simply let the Cast Member know that you're requesting the number of Guests in your dining party be increased. They will let you know if they are able to accommodate your extra Guest prior to seating your party.

Please enjoy your time at the Disneyland Resort! Order a Hurricane cocktail and think of me!
