Hello there, Amy! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question. What a fun evening you have planned! There’s nothing quite like celebrating
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and then ending the night with a reservation at the newly-opened
The Beak & Barrel. It sounds like the perfect way to wrap up your spooky evening.
To answer your question, yes, you will absolutely still get the full experience at The Beak & Barrel. Reservations are honored for 45 minutes, even if this means staying in the restaurant beyond the official park closing time. Cast Members are wonderful at making sure Guests can fully enjoy their reservation without feeling rushed, so rest assured you’ll have time to savor your drinks and atmosphere. That being said, if you’d prefer not to stay for the full 45 minutes, you’re welcome to leave earlier. It’s entirely up to you and your party!
As for the shops on Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll be happy to know they usually remain open after the official end of the evening. It’s common for them to stay open anywhere from 20 minutes to about an hour after park closing, depending on crowd levels and how quickly the park is clearing out. While hours can always vary and are subject to change, I’d say you have a very good chance of still finding the Main Street stores open once you finish up at The Beak & Barrel. This gives you a nice opportunity to browse, grab a last-minute souvenir, or simply soak in the atmosphere of Main Street before heading out for the night.
Amy, I hope this helps you feel more confident about your plans and gives you a better idea of what to expect. Between the party, the parade, the fireworks, and your late-night reservation, you’re in for such a memorable evening at Magic Kingdom.
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
