We have a reservation at Beach Club (two rooms) for my mother in law and my family of 4, but are thinking about changing to a 2br villa at Saratoga Springs. What are the pros and cons to switching or not switching? Thank you!

    Hi Connie,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations. Let me see if I can offer you some help as you make the decision about your accommodations.

Disney's Beach Club Resort is such a lovely resort! From this resort, I appreciate the ability to walk or take a quick boat ride to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and there are so many other resorts with entertainment and dining options around Crescent Lake in walking distance. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a relaxing destination. From this resort, you can head to Disney Springs on a relaxing boat ride.

I think that which resort you choose will depend on your goals for your vacation. I think that either way, with two hotel rooms at Disney's Beach Club Resort or with a two-bedroom villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you will have plenty of room for five guests. If you plan to head to theme parks, especially Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, for most of your time at Walt Disney World and eat most of your meals out at restaurants, I suggest the two hotel rooms at Disney's Beach Club Resort. If you think that you would like to spend more time in your accommodations, and have the ability to prepare meals in a full kitchen and truly spread out in a space that includes a living area, the two-bedroom villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is probably a better choice. Also, the two-bedroom villa will have a washer and dryer right in the villa, which means that you can pack less and save on checked baggage fees with the airlines!

Either way, you will be staying at a great resort Connie! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
