We have a reservation at Bay Lake Tower for MArch 2011 but are considering changing it to Beach Villas. Have a 5 yo and 6 yo and wonder if there will be more to do around the Beach Villas/Boardwalk area. Do you think we should switch the reservation?

    Hi Laura,

Both Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort and the Beach Club Villas are ideal spots to call "home" while on vacation at Walt Disney World.  Both resorts have enviable locations (Bay Lake is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom, and the Beach Club is within walking distance of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.)  The Beach Club has a magnificent pool, Stormalong Bay, which is a favorite among many guests.  However, Bay Lake has an amazing pool as well.  With young children, I'm betting you are going to be spending a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom, and being able to walk or hop on the monorail is a huge perk in my opinion.  Bay Lake Tower is a truly impressive property.  Staying on the monorail line will provide you with easy access to a number of wonderful resorts and dining options that I'm betting your family and young children will love.  If I had to pick, I would stick with your current reservation.

    Have a magical trip!
