My Reservation is for August 23-Sept 1, 2012. I called to modify my reservation to include free dining, I was told I would have to change my arrival to Aug 25th. I already have airline reservations. Any suggestions?

    Hi, Sandra!

I really wish it was easier to change airline reservations, but it is what it is.  If you want to participate in the Free Dining and stick with the dates you have your airline tickets for, you can always book 2 separate reservations, one for August 23 - 25, with a second reservation for arrival on August 25.  For the part starting August 25, you could have the whole package with room/tickets/FREE dining.  This actually might be fun, you can even change resorts if you want for the "second half" of your vacation!  If you do this way, I would probably book a really nice resort and not even invest in park tickets and just use the first day or 2 to relax at the pool, enjoy Downtown Disney, explore other resorts, and stroll the Boardwalk - all the fun stuff we never take the time to do when visiting Disney! Then, for part 2 of your vacation, indulge in your Free Dining with full time in the parks.

Other options:  You can also do 2 reservations at the same resort, although you may still have to change rooms within your resort.   Final option:  skip the Disney Dining Plan or pay regular rate for the Disney Dining Plan.

Sorry I do not have a better solution for  you, but hope I have at least given you some ideas and options!  Good luck
