Hello! We have a reservation for arrival on 12-21-2024, which is the last arrival day to qualify for the Disney Visa Free Dining. Can I (solo) arrive on the 21st to get our room/package, and have my family join me the following day?

Happy Holidays, Patrick! I know it's a bit early, but you're planning a holiday visit so I wanted to be the first to wish you season's greetings!

I think every time someone mentions spending the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort, I tell them how jealous I am. This is a bucket list item for me and I'm so happy that you're going to get to experience it! The decorations, the entertainment, and the joyous atmosphere are going to make for not only a wonderful visit, but it will set you up for a glorious start to the new year.

To qualify for the current Disney Visa Cardmember free dining plan offer, your stay must begin by December 21, 2024 at a qualifying hotel and hotel room. When you book, you should book the room for your entire family for the whole stay, even if they are joining you one day into your vacation. Note that your charge for your accommodations will likely be based on the total occupancy of the room and since meal allocations are per night, each Guest will receive meals for the first night, even though they will not be there! Just ensure that you read the full offer details for more information.

Be sure to follow along with the Disney Parks Blog leading up to your trip as more holiday announcements are bound to come along. One of my favorite offerings is the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which will start on November 29, 2024 and run until December 30, 2024. Besides the Holiday Kitchens, my favorite part of this festival is the iconic Candlelight Processional. Talk about getting into the holiday spirit! To get you in the holiday mood right now, check out a preview of some of the new holiday merchandise coming to the resort for the 2024 season. And if you just can't wait to celebrate, check out some great ways to celebrate the season early!

Patrick, I wish you all the best with planning your festive holiday. If you have any other questions, you can always reach out to me!

    There's color everywhere,
