We have a reservation April 27- May 3 2022 and tried to change it to May 5- May 11 2022 and it did not cancel the first reservation and did not credit our $200 deposit we paid. How can we cancel the first reservation?

    Welcome to planDisney, Darin!

You must be excited to be planning a springtime vacation to Walt Disney World! Hopefully you are going to visit EPCOT for the beautiful International Flower and Garden Festival. Here you can enjoy gardens, exhibits, fabulous food kitchens, and my favorite - the Garden Rocks Concert Series!

To modify your reservation, log onto your My Disney Experience account. Next to your existing reservation, there should be an option to "Modify Reservation." You can alter dates, resort choice, or any special rate offers while keeping the same reservation number and deposit. (Changes can be made based on availability.) If there is a price difference, you will have to option to make that payment at the end of your transaction.

If you already booked a second reservation without canceling the first, you can simply choose the "Cancel Reservation" option. Your deposit will be credited to your original form of payment. If you are unable to make the desired changes online, please call (407)934-7639 for assistance.

Wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
