Hey There, Jeff!
Welcome to planDisney! For me, purchasing tickets and making theme park reservations is one of the most exciting parts of the vacation planning process –– that's when it starts feeling real!
To purchase tickets, you'll want to start by signing into your
My Disney Experience account on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. Next, hover over the tab labeled "Parks & Tickets" to access a drop-down menu where you can select "Theme Park Tickets" under the "Admissions" section. From this page, you can follow the prompts to select the number of days and type of ticket that will work best for your vacation. Before selecting your tickets, you'll also want to take a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure that
Disney Park Pass Reservations are available for each day of your ticket. After making your ticket purchase, you'll be able to book theme park reservations for your entire party using the
Park Pass Reservation system.
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my favorite places to stay when we visit Walt Disney World –– you can't beat the location! My family enjoys using the walking path for a direct route on our way to Magic Kingdom Park (when we're full of energy) and then taking the Monorail for a quick trip back to the Resort at the end of the day. If you happen to have booked Theme Park View accommodations, you can even watch Magic Kingdom Park's new nighttime extravaganza,
Disney Enchantment, right from your room –– how cool is that?!
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Jeff! Don't hesitate to stop back in if you think of any other questions as you plan your upcoming vacation –– we're always here to help!
Happy New Year!
Amy
