I have a reservation for April 6-April 10th 5 day park hopper for two people. I would love to add on genie plus to our tickets, is there anyway I can add on genie to already purchased tickets or do we need to wait until entering the park? Thanks!

Hi Jazmin, welcome to planDisney!

I just came back from The Happiest Place on Earth and used Disney Genie+ service so I'm happy to give you my latest tips!

First off, excellent decision to use Genie+. The two days we went to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park were pretty crowded, and Genie+ allowed us to skip the standby lines and use the Lightning Lane entrances, which definitely saved us time. Since you've already purchased your Theme Park Tickets, you'll need to wait until you've entered one of the parks to purchase Genie+ through your Disneyland Mobile App. Also, just a reminder, Genie+ can be used to make selections of the next available window for Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions, one at a time, and limited to one Lightning Lane selection per attraction per day.

Also, I want you to be aware that there are currently three attractions that are not available through Genie+. To access the Lightning Lane entrances for these three attractions, you must purchase access individually through the Disneyland Mobile App, after you have entered one of the parks. These three attractions are Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure Park. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is my favorite Disneyland Resort attraction of all time and I highly recommend it! WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure is one of the newest attractions at Disneyland Resort, and I thought it was extremely fun and worth it!

Oh, one more thing! A great perk about Genie+ is that it includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass Digital Downloads! It's no secret that the Disney PhotoPass Photographers are amazing. For a fun surprise, ask them for a fun Magic Shot! They'll add awesome elements like Disney characters, props, and other fun surprises!
